Profile

Holly is a 19 year old firbolg druid from Hjemaelis. She was raised to be a ruthless vampire hunter, but after breaking her paladin oath to save a vampire and his friends and thus helping to kill her own mother, she no longer has a path in life.

She still holds the last name Hawe, even though her mother is dead and was cruel to her. She doesn't have any other name.

Holly Hawe is a 19-year-old firbolg from Hjemaelis. She is 8'5" and is the seventh child of a seventh child, a natural-born hunter. Her class is druid, Circle of the Moon, and she was an Oath of Vengeance Paladin, but broke her oath to help a vampire she was meant to hunt.

She was captured by a group of grocery store workers after she kidnapped their manager, the local lycanthrope, and held him in a dark basement for eight days, nearly killing him. She has since been forgiven for this, though the markers of this trauma will remain on Cassidy for the rest of his life.

The subsequent interactions with the party resulted in the death of Holly's mother Vivienne, the real vampire hunter. Now Holly is alone, and she does not know what to do.

Her favorite color is blue, her favorite foods are smoked salmon, mushrooms, and scones with dried fruit, her favorite smells are rain and hickory smoke, and her favorite flowers are forget-me-nots. She's allergic to brassicas but will eat them if they're given to her anyway, even though it causes her great physical discomfort and can suffocate her. She believes that a person is made up of three parts (body, mind, and soul) and that the three parts must act in harmony for a person to be whole. If a part isn't behaving in alignment with the other two, it must be brought in line. This is a belief her adoptive mother used to manipulate her and convince her that she was broken in some way, and that Vivienne herself was perfect.

She loves animals, but is okay with hunting them. She can neither read nor write in Common, though she can write in Druidic, and she struggles with speaking Common. Vivienne gave her a device that reads for her and a pen that can write for her and told her that she was simply incapable of reading or writing. She is not incapable; she's just mildly dyslexic and Vivienne never put in the effort to teach her, as giving her those skills would give her a skill that she could use to depend less on Vivienne.

Without Vivienne, she is very lost. But maybe she will find herself.
