Lumi Tsami

Backstory

Lumi doesn't bring up her childhood very often but when she does she will do it with the certainty that she is a lucky gal. Her parents both loved her and loved each other and although she had no siblings, the term big sis is very familiar to her since her friend group down at Sour Valley has been at least 3 years younger than her so the motherly aspect of her was developed. A little while after her parents retired (they didn't specify what job they were working on and she didn't question) off it was to the ice cream mountains where the quiet atmosphere was lovely for an elderly couple. And this was also perfect for a 13 year old to grow up to be quiet and listen to stories of other said elderly people and learn about the avalanches, divorced couples, floods and just hear about people ramble about life. She hears about depression and books and suicide and transitioning genders. She gets all this knowledge to Domoko City where she applies to a college of many people in the culinary art. Lumi doesn't remember what made her wanna pursue it but there's the familiarity of kitchen.

College life was fun and interesting, after having 5 years of old people telling her stories and educating her she was rather metaphorically, shoved into the young people group whom were filled with life compared to the peaceful slowness of the elderly cabin and snow village. She shared a dorm with 5 guys older than her and all seen her as a younger sister who gave them love of a family most of them missed having moved out. Her main crowd consisted of these 5 guys until one night where she was stalked and nearly mugged if a spunky lemon drop gal named Kiki hadn't come around. They became friends over the mentality that Lumi was a motherly source and Kiki was technically her body guard. College after 3 years became a bit repetitive but seeing as so many of the elders reprimanded she get her Masters at least before leaving college she persisted just for the final year just finding different sources for interest which led her to pry into the 5 guys she lived with professions which where alchemy, candy anatomy, marketing, psychology and chemistry. She also befriended a elderly Baker after happening to see a small shop that brimmed with cookies and celebratory snacks. She went under apprenticeship after seeing that the Baker couldn't work as hard as he used to and spent most of her time after class to help out and later learning that she gained his trust into letting her keep the bakery herself, leaving for the man to peacefully retire. After college she asked Kiki to help with the bakery and they became partners over their love of baking!
