Backstory

Sam Oxdale was raised by her single mother from age 2 and up. Her father left the two and her big sister, after her parents had decided, they could no longer live together in the same house. Her father had been very loving and they left off on good foot. They met often but over the years, he visited less and less. Her mother never put him in a bad light, but still Sam dislikes him greatly. She feels like he abandoned her.
Through an unhappy coincidence, two of her male childhood friends moved with no primary. This made her feel abandoned again. Soon she started to dislike guys. Whenever a guy is around she distances herself from him and hides behind her mother or sister. Her nickname was given to her by the boys in kindergarden, because of her Toxic behaviour towards them. Even though she's shy, she wants the boys to know not to mess with her, so she doesn't argue.

Each Other Childhood Friends

Sky and Sam know each other because their parents are friends and they went to the same kindergarden. Sky is very protective of Sammy and even though Sky's personality is very boy-ish Sammy searches comfort within her. Deep down Sammy probably enjoys having at least one male role model in her life, even though she doesn't like to admit it
Caramel Babysitter

Caramel has been babysitting Sammy for 5 years now. Nowadays she doesn't really need a babysitter, but they still meet up often, simply because Caramel enjoys spending time with her. Sky is also around most of the time and too loves spending time with Caramel and Sammy.
Alex & Martin Friends????

The four of them came into contact through Caramel babysitting all of them and while Sky sees Alex as an inspiration (take the hair for example) and just accepts Martin as being a cool but quiet guy to be around, Sammy isn't very fond of either of them. She accepts Alex a little bit because he seems to make Sky happy, but she doesn't prefer to interact with him if she can. Martin on the other hand, is a big & mean guy, that is probably plotting to hurt her in some way. So she assumes. She takes quite the precautions to make sure she doesn't have to talk or be near him.
