appearance

mitsue is a girl of short height and a notably round face. she has fair skin, a cat-like smile, rosy cheeks and blonde hair that gradually turns orange. peers have commented on her pretty appearance numerous times.

mitsue has been described as the perfect marketing hero because of her appearance and eccentric personality. she’s an easygoing individual and easy to approach in any situation. her sense of humor (although unconventional at times) seems to what sticks out to people and ultimately charms them the most. she’s generally well-liked among peers and loves to make others laugh. in contrast to her cute face she’s not conventionally girly and does things like manspreading or jokingly flirting. this is part of the reason people have affectionately branded her with the term ‘greasy’.

some may describe her as lazy or unmotivated, both things she doesn’t mind. she knows it’s true but there’s more to it than she lets on. she is actually afraid of fully applying herself because she fears that her best may not be good enough. because of her mother, she’s gained the ability to mask her true emotions and intentions. 

quirk explanation/stats

her blood converts into heated plasma that escapes from her fingertips like big bullets.

overuse can start as dizziness and lead to potential death because her ammo is her blood supply. bullet power ranges from a paintball to potentially being lethal. the more fingers she puts into an attack the more powerful and concentrated an attack is. attacks like these often more drain blood and are less accurate.

her stats are overall good, she just hasn’t reached her potential. she’s very bright and has very good understanding of her quirk but lacks in areas where it requires extra physical training.

backstory

mitsue was born to chisae akane and asahi in a metropolitan city in japan. her childhood was pretty average and she was well off compared to other children. being an only child everything was pretty much handed to her on a silver platter. growing up she was fairly good at everything she tried, so it gave her no incentive to be passionate in her endeavors.

mitsue had always admired her father who was an overly bombastic police officer. he had always held heroes in high regard and looked up to them. not overtly passionate about being a hero mitsue saw it as an easy money-making profession that would make her dad happy.

when mitsue turned 14 she was able to procure a spot in U.A. her parents (now divorced) often quarreled about this topic. akane wanted a peaceful life for mitsue, and figured that based on her attitude that she would quit U.A. within the first semester. on the other hand, her father was very excited for his daughter.

mitsue’s pettiness and natural academic skills are what’s currently keeping her afloat in the hero course. 

(spoiler alert: due to shit going down she goes through character development,, and actually wants to help people + strives to get better!!!)
