Ivan is a character based on the Orange Nectar Bat. (Lonchophylla robusta)
He is incredibly grumpy and standoffish, and spends a lot of time climbing up trees.
He does have a soft spot, with a habit of collecting pretty flowers. Not that he'll tell anyone about that.
