Dregar

On an alien vessel known as the Psycho Cutter, an interstellar conqeror named Dregar creates a line of battle droids to bolster his army. Among them, an elite group he personally designed and programmed are created, using a special form of CPU engineered by scanning a living organism's brain in slices, compiling the residual brainwaves into an AI board that could replicate the thoughts of a living organism perfectly. With these weapons, he was sure to conquer the galaxy.

What he didn't expect was that his machines would go haywire.

In his attempt to recapture the machines for reeducation, Dregar was grievously wounded. Though he did manage to stop one machine from escaping, the other staggered into a pod and ejected it and several other decoys into parts unknown. After his ship's crew gave him cybernetic augmentation to get him stable again, he set a course for each pod individually.
