The youngest in a pod of six, Drey lives wild and free in the Gulf of Mexico, a place he calls home. He enjoys hunting, pulling funny pranks on nearby unsuspecting humans, and playing with the fish in his coral garden. He's a HUGE mama's boy, and is absolutely fascinated with humankind despite his mother's warnings to stay away. Drey has lived the first eighteen years of his life in peace, despite the occasional border skirmish with opposing mers, and he loves living.

Drey is often too curious for his own good. He's kind, overly optimistic, and though wary of strangers, upon warming up to them he's like a big oversized fish puppy. He loves to play, explore, and learn new things, and often takes it upon himself to travel further out into sea and dive to the ocean floor to find fun new human trinkets to make neat necklaces of. Mermaid culture is very unique in itself, nearly tribal, really, and Drey certainly fits the part with his long hair and several necklaces made out of anything his pod can find-- whether that be fish bones, fishing weights, shells, or lost human trinkets, he loves to build and collect.
