Momoko Suzuki ( 鈴木 桃子, Suzuki Momoko) is a minor character appearing in Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS.
Design
Appearance
Momoko is a fair-skinned young woman. She has purple eyes and orange hair with pink highlights on her bangs in the front and slightly longer hair on the back. Her standard attire is the Den City High School uniform, consisting of a slate-colored jacket with a light blue trim, and underneath a light yellow jumper and a white dress shirt. Momoko wears the blue tie with the heart-shaped clip on top of her jumper instead of having it tucket in. The uniform also includes a short black skirt, black knee socks and brown shoes.
As Muse, her hair colors are lighter and inverted, and her hairstyle is more symmetrical and curved outwards. She wears a black vest with green accents and underneath a grey one-piece with short pant legs and no sleeves. The orange pattern on the top part resembles a tie. Additonally, Muse wears black gloves and knee-high boots, also with orange and green accents, and has a transparent green visor hovering in front of her face.
Personality
Momoko is a friendly but reserved girl. She doesn't open up to others much and doesn't show a lot of emotions, but gets more comfortable around people she grows closer to. Otherwise, she doesn't interact with people as much, but will do it if it is needed for her own profit.
Momoko is more of an analytical person and has a good eye for strategy and problem-solving. She is an ambitious person and works hard to get closer to her goals; so much that she sometimes forgets about anything else. While she's mostly distant towards most people, she does have a good heart and enjoys helping others.
Ethymology
Her given name consists of the characters "peach" (Momo 桃) and "child" (Ko 子). Her last name can be translated as "bell tree", "bell wood" or "bud tree".
Abilities
Momoko taught herself how to program at a young age and perfected her skills over the year. She is able to create a wide range of apllications, including some that can be used inside Link VRAINS. She is not proficient in hacking though.
Biography
Past
Momoko and her older brother Masao grew up in a small rural town. They may have very different personalities, but they both share a love for dueling. At a young age, Momoko developed a passion for programming and has created many applications since then. When she heard about SOL Technologies and Link VRAINS for the first time, she was very fascinated by it and wanted to experience the cyberspace for herself. She set her goal to improve her skills so she could work for the renowned organization one day and contribute to such impressive technology herself.
Moving to Den City
When Masao graduated from school, he moved to Den City to study art. Momoko never really had any close friends, so she started to feel a bit lonely without her brother. But she also saw this as an opportunity to follow her brother to the city. Her parents were against it at first, but after finally turning 16, she was allowed to live with him in Den City.
Entering Link VRAINS
In Link VRAINS, Momoko created her avatar “Muse”. The name was chosen by her brother, as he sees his little sister as his main source of inspiration. Momoko started visiting LV not only for dueling, but also to make use of her programming skills; she writes and shares several applications that can be used inside LV. This way, she’s also hoping to build up a portfolio for her future employment at SOL.
Joining Duel Club
Shortly after moving in with Masao, Momoko enrolled at Den City High School as a first-year student. At the beginning she spent most of the time at school by herself. But eventually she got to know about Aoi Zaizen, who was said to have ties to a higher-up at SOL Technologies. Sensing her profits of getting to know that girl, Momoko ended up joining Duel Club. Over time she manages to warm up to the other members and finally makes some friends. Thanks to Aoi's ties to SOL, Momoko also received one of the new Duel Disks, which she now considers her most prized possession.

- She likes eating a lot and often carries snacks around her. It helps her boost her performance and concentration, so she says.
- Her favourite food is yakisoba pan.
- Masao named her LV avatar because she had no good ideas on her own.
