An energetic, spirited youngster of the Colony's ranks, and perhaps too brave for his own good. Kestrelcry has always been regarded as promising, but at the same time, treated with a shy delicacy, like he were to fall apart at any minute. If it's for his explosive and often irritable mood, or something relating to his past, he can't tell — but either way, he despises the looks that seem to question his very nature as a cat of the Colony. Nobody can deny he's a hard worker, constantly throwing himself into harder and harder challenges just to prove he can, but these feats land him in the Healers' paws too often to not hint at a lack of impulse control... not that anyone can fault him for it.
This profile is a heavy work in progress, and changes may be made in the near (and distant) future as Kestrelcry's background is worked on more extensively.
Trivia
✦ A traumatic brain injury caused by blunt force trauma near the end of his apprenticeship has forced him to adapt to the changes it has caused for him, both on a physical and personal level. His vision and hearing on his left is at a total loss, leaving him vulnerable if he does not stay vigilant at all times. He also has a slightly misaligned / crooked jaw and scleral hemorrhaging.
✦ He's known for "spacing out" in the middle of a sentence on occassion — and while many in his social circle believe it to be nothing more than a quirk, those ten-second long episodes are in actuality seizures.
✦ If there's something Kestrelcry can't resist, it's running head-first into situations that would make any other cat screech to a halt. However, not many can truthfully call it a poor feat... often times, he comes out unscathed and puts on a horribly impressive show. He's swift, effective and a hard-hitter, and it's impossible to unsee the joy on his face during a fight.
✦ He's the Colony's weather alert, for lack of a better term. Splitting headaches wash over him just hours before a thunderstorm that could devastate and flood the Colony's camp, and buys them enough time to make preperations.
✦ Despite his young age and still coltish build, he reaches an impressive height and towers over many his own age.
