Buck Tomlin's young life was focused around one thing and one thing only: Ensuring the safety and care of his younger brother LuBeck, a task he performed admirably until the day he was stolen away by a cruel group of pirates. Though his Time Aether abilities were powerful, his body was unequipped to properly handle the strain, leaving him unable to fight back against the invaders' sheer numbers, forcing him to capitulate to their demands until such as time as he could escape. He spent nearly a year in captivity, enduring the physical and mental slings and arrows when his chance finally came in the form of a trader's vessel, one that, to the horror of his cruel masters, was full of bees. One particularly harsh incident later, and Buck was not only free of his captors, but found himself work on-board the merchant vessel, known as the Hachimitsu Haitatsunin, utilizing his powerful senses to act as security and providing advanced warning during shipments. He adapted to his new life quickly enough, but knew deep down that it wasn't what he wanted... one day, he'd find that long lost brother of his once more...

When not attending the movement of goods, Buck can often be found either training in the ship's dojo, sitting awkwardly in the medic's office from training too hard in the dojo, or just generally sulking in some dark corner of the ship... possibly with the ship's "Herbal Specialist" Dzifa, who's taken to the reluctant Buck as her main squeeze...
