Oren Iliris

Oren is a half-elf born as a bastard to an elven noble father and a human mother. He grew up in the elven city he was born in, going unrecognized by his father despite looking exactly like him except for his green eye, which is his mothers. He learned to resent his father and nobility for how they treated people they deemed less than, how his mother remained delusionally obsessed with his father despite him clearly not caring about her near the same. Oren cares for his mother, loves her, but knows she's not entirely in her right mind over it all.

He grew up getting trained in combat, elven weapon training, much like a lot of the other kids. He was scorned and bullied for what he was, half, a bastard, less than. 

Eventually he left the city he grew up in, to get away from it all. Finding jobs else where to support him, utilize his skills, be able to send his mother money. It's how he ended up with a guard job at a city, from which he eventually got transferred to work as a guard for a noble house, much to his dismay..
