Sandstar is the leader of Riverclan. She is intelligent, somewhat pretentious, and nosy. She doesn't hesitate to send spies to find out everything she can about the other Clans. Apart from that, she loves her Clan very much and would be willing to die for it.
Even though Sandstar seems mean and haughty, she has a strong sense of loyalty and will do anything to help her own. That's why she might be inclined to help Windclan, for fear of losing her food reserves.
