Cae's a guardian stygian blessed by Marceau, and was welcomed into the nightmare world by him.
PERSONALITY
Timid and patient to a fault, this stygian almost always looks deadbeat tired. Those that stick around long enough will get to see the full spectrum of their lesser-seen expressions, and get to hear all about how to identify each of the 7 sloth species that exists. They're finicky about doing things certain ways, prone to staring into space for minutes at a time, and often takes "accidental" naps. Showing their schizotypal side, they can barely be bothered to brush their hair, though they do have a sophisticated sense of fashion-- often opting for prince style lolita.

A guardian stygian with faded memories of their dreamer's life. Much of their personality as a result, comes from them, someone they will never get to meet but will always live in the shadow of. The one thing they do remember vividly is the nightmare they spawned from--and their dream lover that they met, and never saw again. Rather than intentionally trap other dreamers in their nightmare, they accidentally do so, but always help comfort them through the loss of their loved ones by acting as emotional support. They're constantly worried they're doing something wrong, which is only made worse by Marceau's expectations. As much as they loathe this, they've developed a crush on him they can't help but feel guilty for. While they're not good, or at the very least, insecure about their performing skills, they just want Marceau to be proud of shining in the areas they are proficient in: visual art.
Marceau blessed Cirrus's guardian jar, and openly welcomed caer into his arms. He can be a bit overbearing, and sometimes doesn't really take the time to listen to caer, but nonetheless cae has developed a crush on him.
