A fluffy ball of painful giggles, this Gengar is forever cursed [Currently unsure of how this may have occurred].
The metal stake through the head is a nudge towards how the move 'curse' is used in the games, and the 'blood' is more or less an illusion, but a substance.
Despite their somewhat friendly-looking appearance other than that; they fear getting too close to other pokemon and trainers because they don't want them to be cursed themselves. Whether they would or not has not been yet discovered, but I wouldn't think they'd want to take that chance.
