Rangkai’s your typical orphan mc who has no right to be as good at martial arts as he is. He's jaded and nonchalant. Raised in a labor camp that doubled as an illegal fight ring, he was forced to do some not so good things and worse things to escape it. It taught him that life is just a game played by the rich….Until he met an intriguing stranger from the palace. Since then, he still believes people are selfish, but is determined to meet that person again and become a part of their life somehow, even if it means going up against the royal family.
From his boss encounter post:
- Would fight a whole army to save an ally
- Would fight a whole army to save an enemy just to curb stomp them himself
- Would watch his own house burn if he's feeling too lazy to do anything about it
Basically it's hard to get him to care about anything enough to love or hate it or even like or dislike it, but in the rare chance that he does, you can bet he will take it to the extreme. That is basically the real premise of his story 🤣
Random
- "Rang Kai" generally means, "move aside!" or "out of the way!"
- He did have a name before "Rangkai." It was also not an actual name, but a number. But he does eventually receive an actual name
- He tends to acquire pets by accident. They just follow him home and stay with him for a while, then leave randomly
- His mother was an immigrant, but he doesn't know if she came from Indonesia or Taiwan (indigenous) since his father was known to forge records
