"Everything is beautiful when you look at it with love"
Shourinokobis are born of all sorts of emotions. Anger, happiness, longing, sorrow. Yet there is no emotion quite as powerful as Love.
Yue is a Shouri of Love and it shows in every aspect of him. Passionate about what he does and those he loves, Yue is as fiery as his phoenix tail would suggest. He cares fiercely about those in his life and does everything in his power to make sure they are happy. A true romantic at heart, Yue loves helping others find their soul mates, often times acting as a makeshift Matchmaker. He's a very joyful Shouri, rarely ever seeming run down or upset - at least around others, he tries to keep up the bright and sunny appearance around others to bring light to their day even if his own is rather dark. He spends so much time caring for others, that sometimes Yue forgets the most important type of love; Self-love!

Present
Less nomadic than he once was, Yue has settled into a domestic life that he'd never thought he'd have.
He spends most of his day with his sweetheart, Kumadori, and their two children. He moved from his 'bachelor pad' into a small house with his new family. Things aren't smooth or easy, but Yue wouldn't have his life any other way.
Working mostly as a Matchmaker, Yue has an 'office' in Caveheart where he meets with lonely clients and tries to find them their perfect match. His reputation as a matchmaker is pristine and rarely does he fail to find the One for his clients. Occasionally, he still offers his services writing and delivering Love letters, but he prefers to stay closer to home now.
History
Yue was the youngest sibling in his family and was always surrounded with love and affection - even when his older brother was off adventuring in Aurora Land. Never once did Yue ever need to question his own worth or the feelings of others towards him. He grew up happily until he was old enough to fly the proverbial nest. Living alone, Yue found himself spending more and more time outside of his small flat rather than in its lonely confines. During this time, he fell head over heels in love. The love sparked slowly at first before quickly burned into an inferno and Yue invited him into all aspects of his life, completely smitten and willing to give him everything. But it was not to be, the one he was so sure was his soul mate had no actual interest in Yue himself and had only used him as a means of getting closer to someone Yue knew. Hurt and betrayed, Yue left his home town to travel around and nurse his shattered heart. During his travels, Yue found himself a purpose; helping others avoid the heart break he went through. He wanted nothing more than to help others find their true soul mates and avoid those who seeked to only use them. Through his noble goal, Yue met Kumadori, another heartbroken soul who had just escaped a toxic relation. Yue instantly sensed the hurt and longing from the beautiful but sorrowful Shouri and made it his job to help the other find love once more. But he never would have expected that one would be himself.

Rather sappy as a poet, Yue is remarkably good at writing poetry of love and longing. It was once his job to write poems on behalf of others but now it is merely a hobby he loves to indulge
Crafting
Yue is not a crafts Shouri. Truly he has no desire to create things in this way, but it is Kuma's hobby and Yue wants to make him happy - even if it is something Yue is completely talentless in.
Fire of Vulcanus
Blessed with unusual but natural Magic under the deity, Vulcanus. Yue is highly capable with fire magic. While he mostly uses it for small tricks to amaze and charm, he is a force to be reckoned with should he be angered.
Singing
A choir boy in his youth, Yue has a beautiful voice and a natural talent for singing. However, he does not like to sing and therefore does not sing often. He prefers to hum and whistle.

A collection of roses and birds made from tightly folded paper. They are gifts from Kuma, Yue keeps all of them.

A simple notebook decorated with birds and flowers. Yue carried it on him at all times in case inspiration strikes.

Yue's sweet boyfriend. Yue met him not long after Kuma left a toxic relationship. Yue wanted nothing more than to help him find love once more - and Yue ended up falling in love with him. There is no one in the universe and multitude of different realms that Yue loves more than Kuma. While he might not see it himself, Yue thinks Kuma is the most beautiful, talented Shourinokobi in all the world and that there is no one Yue would rather be with.

A spunky lad, Kohaku is always getting himself into trouble. Kohaku has far more energy than Yue could ever have. He runs circles around Yue and Kumadori but Yue still loves him. Even when he's neck deep in trouble, Yue can't help but be endeared.

Much more quiet and sorrowful than her twin brother, Hei reminds Yue of Kumadori in many ways. Unlike her brother, Hei rarely causes trouble but that does not mean she does not have problems of her own for Yue to assist with.

Yue has known Fen for many years. After the destruction of his village and death of his sister, Fen has been through a lot and Yue wants nothing more than for him to find happiness and peace. Unfortunately, Fen has a bad track record with romance. He cut contact with Yue after the Shouri all but attacked his abusive boyfriend. Yue didn't want to leave him in that relationship but he had little choice. Recently, he's received a letter from Fenriel and the two are reconnecting - now that the Kami has left his abusive partner.

Fenriel's Ex Boyfriend
Prosper
Yue did not like Prosper from the moment he met him. As a Shouri of Love, Yue is very in tune with the emotion - and he could not sense an ounce of love in the despicable Kami's body. He knew the Kami was abusing Fenriel but could not get him to see that fact and leave Prosper. In the end, Prosper forced Fenriel to drop all contact with Yue. Yue is not a violent Shouri by nature - but for Prosper, he will make an exception.
