Occupation: Fashion designer, runs an online clothing shop called "Gingham Calico". Works part-time at two different super markets.
Gender: Nonbinary/ gender fluid (prefers they/them or he/him but she/her is also fine.) Has experimented with other labels in the past (gay, trans, just really likes drag, etc) but this is the most comfortable right now.
Physical Description: 5'5", practically a twig. Med brown hair, dark brown eyes.
Personality: With strangers they're reserved, prideful, and detached. Kai says they don't care what people think of them. Not a lot of people "get" them and so they doesn't make an effort to explain their values or style anymore. They ignore most others and comes off as cold and shut off. In front of their friends they're 100% more easy going and open. They cry at the drop of a hat, and wear their emotions on their sleeves. Kai only feel comfortable whining to their friends and takes full advantage of those willing to listen. Serious and no-nonsense.
Sexuality: Asexual/ unsure about romance atm
Voice: Husky, soft, doesn't usually raise his voice even when angered or excited.
Family: Mother (white) and father (Japanese). Grew up in a small town with fairly conservative, traditional parents. Moved in with some friends at the age of 16. Doesn't keep in contact, and niether do they.
Ongoing Story: Kai is still exploring their own identity and gender expression. While he used to dress in typically-feminine clothes for fun and comfort, he now identifies as nb and tries to makes clothing that reflects his ideals.
Likes: Fashion, cute things, pastel colors, ambient and down-tempo music, dresses, nature, taking life slow, sad movies.
Dislikes: Gender roles, cooking, horror movies, thunderstorms, caffeine, dogs, the term "cross-dressing".
Strengths: Creative, great memory, careful and graceful, thoughtful.
Weaknesses: Sleepy & low energy (yet he also has a caffeine sensitivity), low tolerance for people, low tolerance for just about anyone who disagrees with him, can be asocial.
