Eiji

Eiji was an intelligent, kind kid, but his home life made being optimistic a little difficult. His father was an inconsiderate person who remarried every few years, because he treated his wives poorly. Eiji didn't mind too much, until around when he turned eleven, his father met Madison. She was an absolute nightmare of a person, for ONCE Eiji wished his father would get another divorce, but it never happened. The silver lining of this situation was that Maddy had a sister named Penny who was now Eiji's aunt. At first he was apprehensive to meet the sister of somebody as cruel as Madison, but quickly realized Penny was quite different. She also had a son around his own age named Kai, and the two became close friends. However, life is not so simple, and Eiji's greedy father was always jealous of Penny and her husband Kaze's success in the business world, and propositioned them with a partnership. Penny was enthusiastic but Kaze only reluctantly agreed, to bring their families closer together.
