>Appearance<
Orion is a very pastel boy, and loves soft colors. He wears light clothing, including a ty-dyed shirt consisting of light pink, light yellow, and light purple swirls. The base of the shirt is a soft blue color. He wears light blue pants with light green high-tops. He has natural light brown hair and blue/green eyes and semi-light colored skin.
>Family<
Orion's true family is his cat, Gray. He's had his cat for awhile and would do anything for him. He and his father were very close, closer than Orion was with his mother. He was an old child, though his mother did express that she wanted a daughter. Orion's father, Steve, died when he was five, leaving him alone with his mother. He didn't have any other intermediate family, as most of his mothers family weren't in contact with her.  
>Background<
From the first time Orion could remember, he had powers. Orion grew up in a good family, but all that changed when his father passed in a car accident. Orion and his mother never got along, but he always tried to be a better son. His mother was often rude and aggressive, causing Orion to learn to care for himself at a young age. He got his cat when he was twelve, and from that moment on he had something to live for. He couldn't legally work, so he would babysit or mow lawns for people to be able to care for Gray. When he was fifteen his mother kicked him out of the house, no longer wanting to care for him. She left him with a few items and Gray, telling him he was old enough to survive on his own. Despite this, Orion tried to find the light in the situation. He took his cat and his few things and left. He began staying in old houses or abandoned structures in the city, hoping he'd be able to find a place to work. Gray was often outside at Orion's mother's house, so he stuck around the places Orion stayed. Orion had a bit of money at first, which he made sure to save for food for Gray and water. When that began running out, and he lost all hope in finding a true job, he turned to stealing. He began sneaking extra cans of cat food out of small stores, or taking simple items that were easy to hide. Through the years Orion had learned to control his powers, and after sneaking small things didn't work well enough he decided to use his powers. Though he was a good kid and never wanted to cause trouble, he began thinking of different ways to find money. He was able to steal a gun one day, a simple handheld pistol from a nearby gun store. Orion found an old hospital, it's roof caving in and the floors crumbling. However, he thought it would be the perfect place to stay for awhile. He kept Gray inside the only sealed off room when he was gone. One night Orion robbed a gas station, able to get away quickly with his powers. After having enough money for a few weeks he stopped, but soon enough that ran out. Deciding that, despite being immoral, it was a good idea to continue robbing places. He only took enough for himself and Gray, and made sure to never harm a single person in the act. One night Orion was tired and his powers weren't working properly and he got caught. Knowing he had a gun, and the cashier of the store was still inside, the police stayed away and tried to communicate from outside. Orion let the cashier go and began looking for an exit, finding a backdoor to the store. With his last bit of energy he was able to turn himself invisible and sneak out. He tried for the front, but soon realized his powers were draining quickly and he wouldn't be able to hold it long enough to pass the police. Instead he decided to go behind the store. Just before turning the corner to freedom a cop appeared, heading for behind the store. Orion froze and waited for him to pass, wondering what else to do. He though because it was one cop he could make it, but as he began to pass the man his lack of powers hit him hard. He got caught and ended up in the police station, while they waited for his mother to inform her of his situation. When Orion's mother never showed up the cop, Mason, took him to his program for troubled children. Orion arrived, only to learn it was a building dedicated to other kids with powers. Mason became a sort of father figure to Orion, helping him with his abilities and making sure he didn't work himself to death. Orion was able to return to get Gray, before settling down in the building.
>Personality<
Orion is very kind and thoughtful, despite his situation. Everything he does is to better the life of Gray and that's it. He's very mature for his age, and more serious than you would think. He keeps his guard up around strangers but isn't afraid. He likes to access a situation before acting and doesn't want to leave thing up to chance. Orion doesn't like using his powers, more for the fact that it's painful than he doesn't want to. He does practice every now and then, hoping to grow them and maybe not die from using them.
