After dying in his own world, Zenith wakes up in a place not the slightest bit like what he's known. He tries to live normally, but something tugs at the back of his mind.
All things considered, he could be worse off, but that doesn't mean he's a fan of his situation. Like. At all. He's doing his best though that's what matters. Probably
a sentimental longing or wistful affection for the past, typically for a period or place with happy personal associations.

Zenith is a kind, easygoing person who likes to take life at his own pace and doesn’t like to rush things. Pip and Zenith are both pretty lost in their situation, so they make the most of it by hanging together. In their shared time, Zenith has begun to develop a crush. He's doing his best to ignore it, and failing. Miserably

Zenith is... odd. They long for connection, but hold themselves back from making proper friends out of fear of hurting those they love. They'll help others in need, but refuse to take any thanks for their work. So badly do they yearn for something that resembles their own life, but they feel they don't deserve it. It's a habit they're trying to break out of, but that's easier said than done. Outside of those tendancies, Zenith is incredibly empathetic and is often the first to lend an ear to those who need it. He may not know what to say to comfort them, but he's a great listener.

To those he calls his lovers, Zenith is a lot more open and vulnerable than he normally is. For him, there's no greater honor than to be the one person someone wants to stay with for the rest of their life, and that's not something he takes lightly.
Zenith goes out of his way to make sure his partners know they're loved, however that may present itself, but it usually takes on the form of quality time or gifts and such.
Zenith doesn't have any existing family, so it's hard to say how he would act around them.
Generally speaking, though, I picture him being similar to how he acts around his partners, that being the whole 'more laidback than usual' idea.
Near friends, Zenith has his guard up, but not nearly as much as he does around strangers. He's open to joking and messing around, but tends to take on a more serious persona, and is usually the most grounded of his friend groups.
I say 'usually' very loosely because sometimes his ideas just suck
If you've spoken to Zenith once or twice, you may notice he doesn't try to make active conversation with you too much. He only ever reaches out to people he thinks might be trustworthy or otherwise nonthreatening, but for Zenith, that margin is very slim.
Zenith will not make eye contact with strangers unless he absolutely has to. I think he'd rather choke on his own hand than go out of his way to ask a random person where he is.
Zenith doesn't make enemies often- this is a known fact by anyone who's around him for more than a day. To anyone who does manage to draw their ire, though, he is a petty bastard. He will go out of his way to make his enemy's life worse, however that may be, but it usually results in him inconveniencing them every chance he gets.
Girlfriend.
Objectverse-wise, Zenith and Hatty are happy girlfriends and everything is fine! Everything is great. Why do you ask. Outside of that, Zenith deeply misses Hatty, and misses her most days than not. Sometimes she shows up in his dreams, but when that happens, he almost wishes he could stay there.

Pip and Zenith have very similar situations, that being the whole 'wow I have no idea what I'm doing!' and they find comfort in one another's presence because of it. I won't say much about them cuz I've rambled enough in their respective tabs but just know I'm insane about them
Rival/Crush.
In every sense of the word, these two are at eachother's throats- usually. It's more that Envy likes to push Zenith's buttons, and Zenith is easily angered. In that regard, they're great for each other, because they're completely uninhibited and do whatever.
Zenith and Pip met on a one-off meeting in a line on a bus, and talked the whole way to their stop. It's only after Zenith left that they got eachother's numbers, and the two continued talking. It's only because of outside help the two managed to get together, because they spent so long pining it was honestly painful to see.
Zenith and Pip are what I can best describe as a very traditional couple- mostly. They both share similar goals in life, and have a pretty balanced relationship, all things considered. They seem a lot older than they actually are, living a domestic life together.
Older on Pip's end, I mean. She's old.
Outside of that, there isn't too much to note about their dynamic. Zenith is a very doting lover as seen with Envy, and that's only amplified with Pip. Both share a bit of insecurity about not being enough for the other, but that's disregarded in the moments they share with eachother.
Zenith loves to be around Pip, in any way, shape, or form. They share a lot of their time quietly reading or cooking together, something Zenith didn't find much enjoyment in until he met Pip. Pip helps Zenith enjoy the smaller things in life- things he didn't notice or care about until she came into the picture. In the grand scheme of things, they're eachother's rock. Zenith cleans Pip's wings, and Pip helps pick out the gunk in Zenith's wires when they get dirty. It's a tradeoff.
Pip was beyond awkward when they first began dating, but have since calmed down and felt more secure in their relationship with Zenith. Vulnerability is hard, and while Envy just doesn't wanna do it for the sake of 'nuh uh,' Pip's case is rooted in fear of not being enough. Regardless, she feels lucky to have Zenith by her side- a sentiment Zenith shares tenfold. Where Zenith learns to take it slow thanks to Pip, Pip has learned how to be more spontaneous and not worry too much because of Zenith.

Envy and Zenith met in their travels, and have since lived together in a flat that they split payment on- mostly. It usually ends up being Zenith who coughs up the cash for the place. Their relationship was slow to build up, and there wasn't really an offical 'yeah we're dating' part, they just... kinda agreed they were a thing.
The two can hardly be called partners upon first glance, because their relationship is... odd? They'll punch eachother freely and make fun of one another like they hate eachother, but they'll cling to one another regardless.
Having stemmed from a sort of enemies to lovers background, the two still hold a bit of resentment towards eachother that fuels their rivalry in day to day life. They're constantly trying to one-up eachother, be it in trivial things or actual competitions. I'm talking they have a board in their house for who's doing better. It gets heated. So while they might not share the vulnerability some couples may have, Zenith and Envy still enjoy eachother's company.
Envy grinds Zenith's gears in more ways than one, but he kind of loves them for that. He loves how worked up they make him, in a strange way. On top of just finding Envy generally attractive, he sorta just wants to study her under a microscope and watch like a lil bug. He's never going to feed into her superiority complex directly, but in his own way, he wants to make sure Envy feels special- whether that be by spoiling her in the ways she asks or doing things without being prompted.
Envy finds Zenith, above all else, amusing. While she'd rather be caught dead than be vulnerable around him, she loves the attention and he's their go-to when they need to be around someone. Aside from all the lame, mushy stuff, they also just like to push his buttons (literally) and see how much he'll put up with before he actually does anything. It's a fun game, really. She likes being treated as his superior as much as she likes butting heads with him, and it seems Zenith shares the same sentiment.
- I imagine they quite literally charge off of eachother. Like they can use their tails to leech off of eachother's battery

Generally, I see this song as Zenith's indifference to his situation. He's mournful of what he's lost due to the whole dying in a previous world, but right now, he doesn't care enough about himself or the people around him- at least to begin with- to do anything about it. I also kinda see this as the virus in his head speaking to him at least in the chorus but that's another can of worms I'm not opening yet no pun intended

Upon landing in Aevium, Zenith is- very obviously- not thrilled. He's in a body he's not familiar with, people he doesn't know, and generally, he's just not having a fun time. In the first few chapters of the game, he doesn't show a lick of emotion or care until he begins to open up later down the line. This song reflects his own thoughts and how he looks back at his old self, and how he fears he's changed.

So how the virus in Zenith's body works is really all over the place, this song encapsulates how I think Zenith handles it: not well! Cuz y'know having a malicious code being thing in your body isn't fun. Plus he has no bodily autonomy when they're in control so he's essentially a different person when he's not behind the wheel, and this song reflects that

Pip and Zenith!! This song mainly goes over how I picture Zenith approaching Pip- they're both confused, both lost, but they're figuring things out together. Plus, the star/moon motifs in the lyrics help drive the point home that Zenith does see Pip as something otherwordly and sort of reveres her with the same awe as you would an angel. They're lesbians is what I'm trying to say your honor

Zenith + Envy!! Whereas Zenith is a lot softer with Hatty and Pip, Zenith and Envy just kind of want to tear eachother apart and they're okay with that. Zenith finds it attractive. But yeah no this song is just Zenith saying 'you suck I hate you but also I kind of love you for that reason'

Yeah it's a Nightly Manor song for TNM themed interceptor pack it up. Okay regardless I love this song and had to add it because I think it sums up Zenith's struggle down to its roots, lamenting over his past as well as how he is now. It's a bittersweet song, and overall, I picture it as how Zenith views himself in the present. He isn't okay with his situation, but he has people to fight for, and maybe that makes all the crap he went through worth it

Me personally I see this as the two virus halves in Zenith's head arguing and Zenith trying to sort of reconcile with them, at least in the beginning of the story. He gets there, for maybe a minute, but then all progress is erased after one of them makes him go on a murdering rampage. Oops
