Princess Daring

Princess Daring is the second oldest and second youngest Princess of Princessentia. A young girl, she is eager to explore the world but naively thinks herself invincible. She has boundless energy and is very stubborn. Her creations are exclusively animals, who are intelligent but often lacking in critical thinking skills. They exist primarily as play actors in the Princess' adventures and thus their free will is questionable. 

The second Princess, born from the soil of Candinfanta.  Stronger and more clever than her predecessor, Daring ambushed the naive Princess Precious and quickly took control of Princessentia.  She left Candinfanta alone, to remain with its Princess in their eternal youthful stasis, and built the new nation of Perpetua.  Obsessed with adventure and the wild outdoors, Daring made Perpetua into an ever-changing maze of nature.  The surface of Perpetua is densely forested, with mountains and rivers that twist around in every direction.  But when Princess Daring goes to sleep, the landscape crumbles to sand and swirls about in the windy night.  At daybreak, those sands reform into the forests and jungles, rearranged into new locations so that the next day's adventure will always be different from the last.  Below ground, the unchanging tunnels and burrows of the native wildlife keep them safe from the nightly desert winds.

When the third Princess awoke, there was a great fight between Daring and the newcomer, Princess Dangerous.  Daring was struck down and injured so gravely that Perpetua collapsed into sand, and remained in eternal nightfall for a very long time.  In our present time, Perpetua and its Princess are healthy again, after recieving aid from the Princesses Precious and Fantastic.
