Derrik Shadavan: The Mastermind
About: Derrik had a very troubled childhood. His parents died in a multi-vehicle accident when he was 13, and he was sent to live with his relatives. His relatives were dysfunctional addicts; when he wasn't being abused, Derrik spent his time hustling drugs for his "Godparents".
At age 17 he ran away and vanished off the grid for eleven years. Within that timeline, Derrik rose to the head of an illegal drug and firearms trafficking organization. He was eventually tracked down by the FBI and, after killing 15 people and injuring 28 more, he was captured and sentenced to a lifetime in a maximum security prison. He was held in Sheton Prison, located on the Cetnul islands for three years while his transfer was pending.
Derrik was to be moved to a maximum security prison located on Neodamia, but during the transport, he escaped. The vehicle that was carrying him, as well as fifteen armed guards, was never found. Nor were the bodies. Derrik has not been seen since.
