Family: Cecil Jiraiya (father,) Morgan Jiraiya (mother,) and Naomi Rue (he may not be related by blood, but she considers him family.)

Fears/phobias: Osiko is scared of grasshoppers :')

"I don't like how they launch themselves at you. Why are grasshoppers oddly hard??? It hurts."

PERSONALITY

Osiko is very sweet and caring. She's creative and imaginative, and is often off in her own little world. She daydreams a lot and gets distracted easily but when she sets her mind to something she's passionate about, she doesn't have this problem. She's also pretty sensitive, and tends to take things personally. 

LIKES/DISLIKES
- Osiko likes Naoki, art, reading, storytelling, movies and tv shows, talking to people, savoury foods, spinning chairs, bouncy castles, animals, and the sound of rain and thunder.
- Osiko dislikes having knots in her hair, getting scared, horror movies, being too hot, grasshoppers, and the smell of trash.

BACKSTORY 

She found him on the street. Or, rather, he found her. 

She was just walking home from school when this tiny little alley goblin had launched himself at Osiko in an attempt to take the sandwich she was holding in her hand. He easily took it from her when she raised it above her head to keep it away, being a good few inches taller. She was more confused and startled than she was mad when he gobbled it down. He couldn't of been much older than her, though. He was skinny and bony, but still young. 

The second thing she noticed was that his clothes were tattered. they were dirty and had some holes. His shoes looked like they didn't fit, and his shirt was hanging off a shoulder. His hair was messy and greasy, lips chapped and nails chipped. Did he live in that alley?

"Whats your name?" she asked, concerned for his well-being. She expected him to run off guiltily, but he didn't. guess some four-foot-8, 13 year old girl wasn't much of a threat.

"Naoki," he said around a mouthful of food, "why'd ya ask?" 

"Curious. Do you have a home?" 

"Yeah. But I don't live there anymore. Mom and dad said I can't." The last of her sandwich disappeared. What did that mean? Did they kick him out? 

"Can you tell me about it? I have more food at my house," She bribed, wanting to know more. He nodded almost immediately, and that was that.

"The drive was boring. And long. Pit didn't come with us - thats our dog - and I was kinda sad, bcuz mom and dad were really quiet. then the car stopped. the sky was dark and kinda scary. We got out of the car and they told me it was time to go. I was really confused, then they said I was old enough to live on my own," Naoki explained, munching away at another sandwich Osiko had made for him. The first thing she noticed was that he was childish - he spoke like a 10 year old.

"They said they were sorry and left. Mom was crying" He finished. Didn't he realize that they just abandoned him? Why would his mom be crying?

"Did they leave you with anything?" She asked. 

"Oh! Yeah!" He said, pulling a folded up paper out of his pants pocket. He opened it up, "They called it a birth certificate. They also left me with clothes and money, but I don't have that stuff anymore."

Osiko looked over the certificate. Judging by the date of birth, he'd be the same age as her now. His full name was Naoki Rue. It said "Sera Rue" under Mother, and "Guilo Rue" under Father. 

"I miss them," Naoki said suddenly, and Osiko resolved to help him find them.

Naoki ended up living with her. Her parents agreed to let him stay as long as he didn't cause trouble, and took a flipping bath. 

First thing on her list after the bath was to get him new clothes. Hers wouldn't fit him, so she used up her allowance savings to take him shopping. He had a cute taste in clothes. Next was providing an education. They couldn't enrol him in a school without his actual parents there to do it, so she'd take her assignments and textbooks home to teach him herself. She had to start from scratch, since he didn't know anything more complicated than a fifth grade curriculum. It took a while,  but he eventually caught up to her level. Naoki got really close with her parents during his stay. They actually really adored the kid, and treated him like their own son. 

Naoki and Osiko became best friends, too. They'd spend all day together, and Naoki would hype her up whenever she talked about a cute girl. She had introduced him to her school friends, and he quickly became a part of the group. 

Needless to say, he adapted easily.

ONGOING STORY

Naoki has been with Osiko for two years now. Her parents have hired a private detective to track down Naoki's parents, since it would be hard to find that information on their own. Her parents may be finding their location, but Osiko and Naoki will find out the truth behind his abandonment.
