Aether is a crystal clear person inside and out. He doesn't care to hide anything from anyone and is very honest. While not very emotionally expressive he can become very invested with other people and things, self motivated to follow things through and reach goals. He often seeks to find closure to situations, wanting to handle things his way. In the rare occasion that Aether does get excited he tends to go overboard, his own personal quirks and interests bleeding out suddenly like his enjoyment of other people and himself. He can get carried away doing things like talking to people he likes or paying attention to himself. Aether is smooth talking, easy going, laid back, and straight forward, as long as what he asks for is done he won't ask for much more.

Background
Summary: Aether grew up in a secluded village of his family, a secluded group of unicorns that supported themselves off their own land. Aether’s parents were the family seemstresses and they taught Aether everything they knew along with many other faimly trades and secrets. As he grew older Aether wanted to go outside the village but a harsh winter forced him to stay and help his dying family. Seeing the mistakes in such seclusion Aether left his village while seeking to preserve the family trade by teaching it to others.
History: Aether belongs to an old traditional light unicorn race that lives in a small secluded village. They existed on a rich landside close to another family of dark unicorns, both sides prideful and cooperative much like a large collective family. The entire group of them were all very self sufficient, they were well known for their gardens and livestock, making luxury items and selling them for exuberant prices. Both families were well known for their specific products but Aether’s family were especially talented seamstresses. Aether grew up learning the art and trade of making lavish clothing while being surrounded by skilled cooks, bakers, famers, carpenters. Mostly everything he could have wanted was made in front of him, the family rarely ever had to leave the security of their land to buy necessities but they made sure only to buy the best. Aether often enjoyed learning and helping others as was expected of him, especially a dark unicorn his age named Azazel who had to care for his elderly parents. Aether helped with his heavier responsibilities and in return Aether shared with him skills specific to his side of the family.
As Aether grew older he became more curious of exploring the world but his parents warned against it, knowing their family and race were small and needed all the help they could get to stay fully functional. Aether knew this as well, attempting to compromise with traveling trips to sell more home made goods. It wasn’t as enjoyable as he imagined but it was the only way out at the moment. Very suddenly a harsh winter swept over the land and once the elements got too harsh for the family to handle they called Aether back to help. By that time some were dying off and the threat of extinction was turning to a reality. Aether stayed and helped as much as he could but when the season passed many were lost including the dark unicorn family, Azazel included. To him it was unfair that he and his now elderly family survived by chance over the others, that now he was one of the slim few that could continue the race, that he would have to put his aspirations to the side for his family but something had to be done. While there was enough hands to care for the people left and more than enough wealth among the family future generations would be small and Aether left in hopes of finding a way to preserve his family. Seeing no reason they should stay secluded he decided to take up teaching as one way, wanting to share the skills that are unique to him and his family.
Family:
Mother/Father: Aether loves them both very much and keeps close communications with them. While he understands what they do and why they do it he doesn’t want to do things like they have done.
Azazel Rarity: The closest person to him from the dark unicorn family. Very much like a brother to him. Aether was devastated to hear he passed away in the cold alone and blames himself for not being there.

Powers: Crystal Augmentation- Aether can form and control crystals around him to use as leverage, long to mid range attack, and mostly defense.
-Crystals only form via specific verbal casting and last 1-2 turns each, only cast 1 per turn
-Cannot form specific items, only crystalline structures with versatile functions. Crystal cannot change shape once formed, can only grow by repeating the spell
-Crystal is not shatter proof
-Overuse causes crystal body parts to become more brittle. If broken it takes considerably longer to heal
