History: Much like Seirene, Jasper was considered defective due to his diminuitive height. However his speed and superior reflexes makes up for his lack of strength and as such, his past is less riddled with discrimination than his twin. He served as a pilot but not in the way of being an independent being. He was constantly connected to the mainframe and made to analyse large quantities of data in order to determine ship tragectories and navigation. He has a stunted social literacy and is used to being hooked up to a ship's navigation system. When disconnected, Jasper will worry unnecessarily over not being able to predict flight paths even if he isn't working. He uses his reflexes mostly to keep the ships from crashing into foreign objects but occasionally he can be seen on battlefields as a frontrunner or scout. His job could be done by a peridot and a pearl working together (one as the machine and the other as the analyst) but it was more time efficient to have a quartz that could do both simultaneously. He followed his sister to protect her and doesn't hold the same drive that she does to prove themselves. He wears both arm and leg extenders as well as special contacts. Nobody really knows what his contacts are for since he never divulges he actually wears them but it can be speculated that they allow him to see and compute large quantities of binary data.
Personality: He's socially awkward, generally oblivious, and worries almost constantly. He's gullible and believing of even the wildest of rumors. You could probably insult him to his face and he wouldn't even notice. He's terrible at soothing his twin whilst she is in a temper and actually will endeavor to hide from her when she's on a rampage. His twin will also connect to his mind when she needs some extra analytical power but his brain is running so many things at the same time that it is very easy for his twin to get lost.
Appearance: ~5.5 feet (168cm). Jasper has an undercut with floofy hair on top that is colored dark to light in a gradient. He does not wear a visor, opting instead for special contacts to augment his work. He can also be connected to online systems by "plugging" himself in from the back of his neck. He wears both leg and arm augmentors. His leg extenders are mag-lev to allow for ease of movement whilst his arm extenders can be used to store data or in hologram manipulation (much like peridots). He has a slim pointy nose, a small mouth, and a more chiselled face.
Weapon: Laser Sword / Independant Holograms
Abilities: Immersion & Hive Mind. Jasper's brand of Hive mind is a bit different from his twin's. As the "dominant" mind of the two, his power lies in being able to trap (in necessary) and share his brain with others. Often, his sister has trouble disconnecting from his brain and physical shocks are often required to seperate the two. He can also upload his consciouss into systems mainframes remotely but this is a large strain on him and he cannot last long. He preferse to be hooked up like his twin and also retains no ability to control his body when connected.
