Appearance
Amber is an insectoid humanoid hailing from a place simply known as the "Monster Kingdom" in her world. She isn't a tall individual, only standing at four feet tall (121.92cm) and weighs a little over 60 pounds. Her chitin ranges from medium to dark cool browns with dark cream fluff around her neck almost like a mane, the same fluff lining the inside of her chitin "dress."
The segments of her chitin glitter with a golden color, the same golden sheen lines the outer shell of her dress and the almost scarf-like tufts that sprout from her shoulders. These are her wings, folded up to keep out of the way. Her wings are not big enough to carry her and are used strictly for intimidation purposes.
Her horns are tipped with the same golden sheen and her head appears to be made of bone-colored chitin. Her eyes are large and dark, but have a shininess to them. An amber-colored gem rests on her forehead, lined with the same golden color, pulling down into a sharp stripe between her eyes. Despite its appearance her face highly expressive. She has tiny sharp teeth and her tongue is black. Two long and dark antennae curl back from behind her horns. She wears warm colored flowers woven together around the back and sides of her head as if they were hair.
Her arms are lined with big, poofy sleeves the same color as her face and her small, delicate hands are the same dark color as her main body. Within the sleeves, however, hide her secondary mantis arms.. Bladed and sharp.
Skills
Back home she was quite skilled in agriculture. Growing and cultivating numerous otherworldly and alien flowers for medical or culinary uses. She isn't an alchemist or apothecary by any means, only knowledgeable of their uses in such things - the ability to mix them into a potion or medicine is beyond her.
While she cultivates flowers for others to use, or to simply sell flower arrangements, she also makes her own floral teas and collects the nectar and pollen from the flowers she grows. These nectars boost the immune system when consumed regularly and she sells vials and bottles of it alongside her teas. She also makes floral waters and syrups.
Abilities
While she appears small and dainty, she is stronger than she looks. More-so, now that she has entered the Paperverse. Her earthly magics have swelled and she finds she can see through the network of plants around her if she focuses enough, though this leaves her vulnerable if she is looking far off. With a whisper, she can coax the poisons out of thorns or petals, gently thanking them as she bottles them for later. She also isn't above whipping the back of a mantis claw into someone's dick. She's small.. Low blows don't exactly exist if you're playing dirty yourself.. However if you play by the rules, so will she.
If she focuses, she can cause plant life to grow at an accelerated rate or cause it to return to the earth. The size of the plant affects her energy. Growing a bunch of herbs for quick harvesting won't take as much energy as growing or wilting a tree. Having to quickly decay trees or an onslaught of hostile vines may cause her to become lightheaded, sluggish, or collapse.
