Despite what one may assume at a glance, Pieter is actually an experienced, skilled alchemist who has made multiple original formulas, for both battle and everyday use. He's a bit of a loner, though, constantly holing up in his laboratory creating new concoctions.

Pieter was born and raised in High Lagaard, and grew up in a very large family. Though he adores them and would do anything to ensure their health and happiness, he often found himself tired of all the noise, and thus, wasted no time in moving out once he became an adult, though he still visits them often. Within his new home, he created a laboratory and began pursuing his interest in alchemy, and over time, has concocted many original formulas...and just as many mishaps and failures.

Pieter is a bit sensitive to loud noises, and in general enjoys his personal space, so he often spends his time alone in his lab. However, he is, deep down, a very kind man who has a soft spot for young children, particularly his younger siblings, and wants to utilize his formulas for the good of the city. He's very passionate about his work as an alchemist, and, unfortunately, tends to lose a lot of sleep via working late into the night on new formulas. In order to obtain materials, Pieter often sneaks into the labyrinth to gather them, despite not being a proper adventurer...not yet, at least.
