Personality

At first glance, she might appear a cold and detached person. Her obsession with details, numbers and statistics might strike other people as odd and weird. This obsession stems from the fact that she wants to be a Pokemon Professor in the future, and she believes she needs to hoard the most knowledge she can to achieve that goal. An unhealthy amount. An unhealthy obsession that sometimes frustrates her. Nevertheless, even though she rarely shows it, she loves Pokemon. She is marvelled by all the different Pokemon and within them, all their different variations, quirks, habits.

History

She was born to parents unknown and left at an orphanage. Xiu and Liling adopted her when she was very little. She knows she's adopted, yet she has no desire to know who her blood parents are. Her mothers have given her everything and she is infinitely grateful to them. Her childhood was spent on Olivine City. This city, being a port city, made her develop a love of the ocean and all its components: ranging from seaplants to its insurmountable size, and of course, the Pokemon that live there. But it also made her love Ampharos, the guardian of the city's lighthouse. Her parents gifted her a Wooper when she was 9 years old. Her parents took her to the aquarium and the sea museum multiple times. They also took her to see the Amphy in the lighthouse. There, she was gifted a Mareep by Jasmine, the Gym Leader. When she was around 15 years old, they moved to Alto Mare, the City of Water. Her parents put up a bakery-café-restaurant there, and they've lived there since then. Her mothers would've liked Jun to take hold of the business later, but they knew how much Jun loved Pokemon, and even though she loved cooking and baking too, they knew the day would come when she was to leave home for her journey. And so it happened that Jun recently decided to embark on her Pokemon journey.

Shui is lively: she will always be found jumping around, poking at other Pokemon, other trainers, or just things. Personality: Raijin, the Mareep. She is always walking alongside Jun Tao, but she hasn't yet warmed up to her as much as Shui has. She feels a bit of jealously over Jun's treatment of Shui, which seems to her is more endearing than hers.
