Power Message

Power Message is the current ruler of Apollo - the second major guild to operate in the spirit of the Gathering of Embers. Unlike Hephaestus (whose core members had actually been regular attendees), the extent of their initial knowledge was based solely on videos and recorded DJ sets from previous editions. During their first year, chaos ensued, and they almost got shut down for holding a bonfire without a license. Eventually, they chose to razor-focus themselves on experiences that involve music, whether it be artwork that is synced to or creates music, or just concerts in general (they hold a large series of concert balls during the lead-up to Renaissance Day, where Power Message is often one of the opening acts under the alias DJ CouREX).

Eventually, with the help of a DJ named Diamond Diablo (who was doing a few shows in New Oreins whilst stopping by to visit her cousins), they finally did start organizing proper trips to the Gathering, using their experience holding events locally to become an up-and-coming sound camp. Power Message became leader of Apollo a few years ago, after their founder stepped down due to personal considerations.

Outside of the guild, Power Message is a promoter, and also a resident DJ at the downtown tavern Wild Horses. Recently, she also started doing a Friday-night mix show on a local radio station: she pre-records it in advance from home, since she has better things she likes to do on Friday nights (often involving video games).

Personality

On-stage, she thrives off energy, whether its her audience or the music itself/ Power Message is rebellious and strongly defensive of her opinions on certain matters. After becoming ruler of the guild, she got into numerous disputes with Diamond Diablo about their musical direction (among other things, disagreeing with her stance that they should focus mainly on underground music rather than "mainstream" styles such as dubstep).

Other notes

• Almost never takes off her Apollo helm in public during Renaissance season. She has a spiky, silver-blue mane with lime-green highlights under it.
• Bilingual in English and Hoovsiana Prench, and has conversations entirely in Prench with certain individuals.
• Her "Hot Jams" playlist on PonyTube Music consists almost entirely of releases from Manticore, She doesn't mind the crabs song, but everypony constantly requesting it has been getting on her nerves.
