Vanta

After I made a pie chart of the wild genetic mix I believe Shadow the hedgehog to be, I started doodling Shadow showing traits from more than like two of the species he's made of. And thus Vanta was born!

While he has been named his own being, he still has Shadow adjacent lore. He wasn't socialized, and thusly had no contact with Maria, and no vendetta against humanity for killing her. He instead is hostile to humanity for the alienation he faced at the hands of the researchers on the ARK. He wasn't directly taught to speak, only picking up on words through context as the researchers spoke around him as if he wasn't there. This led him to lack casual language, mostly speaking in a more "sophisticated", sterile manner. He wears no clothes, only his inhibitor rings, making him immediately come off as weird to other mobians if they somehow weren't freaked out by his hybrid appearance. Growing up in a cage, somewhere between a wild animal, a spectacle, and an object, he doesn't know how to behave as a "civilized" being. He mostly walks upright, though will occasionally crawl on his hands and paws as well. His left ear is notched from where it was tagged - he ripped his tag out as soon as he was awoken from cryo.
