Profile

"My name is Osirus. I am searching for my family."

Name: Osirus

Full Name: Osirus Vectis (Original), Osirus Sagara (After adoption)

Title: Desert Ghost

Age: 19 - 27

Gender: Male

Height: 5'9

Weight: 210 Pounds.

Eye Color: Dark Red

Hair Color: Dark Red

Hair Sort of messy and long, very thick.

Skin Complexion: Sort of pale.

Body Type: Osirus is a trapizode body style.

Descriptive Appearance: Osirus has somewhat messy and thick long dark red hair that is natural and not dyed, his eyes share the same coloration. His face is very pronounced with a noticeable jawline and cheekbones. Despite his cloak and coat hiding a lot of his features, Osirus is very well built and toned due to all the work he does, even at a young age, he was very muscular. While Osirus has a lot of muscle on his waist and hips, they are still a bit smaller than the rest of his body giving way for his trapezoid shape, but not small enough that it makes him an inverted triangle. He has quite a few scars along his back and on his stomach, mostly from stab or cut wounds.

Clothing: Osirus wears a silver-white cloak that lacks any kind of hood, that has a red interior lining to it. Holding it together at the top is a gold locket that he obtained from his time with his adoptive family. The cloak reaches his waist, underneath his white cloak is a purple and gold coat that has a slightly high collar to it and looks somewhat stiff, this is due to it being made of a semi-flexible reinforced fabric to slightly help with protecting against incoming attacks. He wears black pants underneath those, with some silver-white pants underneath that and some black leather boots as well. His pants lack any kind of pockets and his boots each have two golden buckles and straps to tighten or loosen them as needed.

Personality: Osirus isn't one to take situations too seriously, enjoying making sarcastic comments and exaggerating his skills. He often brushing off insults directed at him with sarcasm or his own witty retorts. Osirus tends to help people out who he feels need it or deserve it, but if the person in question are lacking one of those things he will outright refuse help. This is most often seen when someone constantly asks him for help with a task repeatedly when he feels by that point they should have learned to deal with it on their own already.

That being said, despite his somewhat goofy demeanor and lightheartedness, Osirus holds grudges for insanely long periods of time. Mainly if he were to be lied to or betrayed, often times finding it difficult to ever forgive the person even if they claim they had reasons for doing so. He also holds an extreme dislike for people who believe in the stereotype that 'all dark mages are evil', even if you try and explain to him that statistically speaking those who dabble in the dark arts often end up doing dark things themselves.

Osirus does, however, have a more serious side to him that often only ever shows itself when a situation is particularly dire or whenever he wields the Tome of Βaivοktovia, which seems to completely change his entire demeanor on the battlefield. Whether this is intentional or not is unknown, as he never acknowledges this change and whenever someone brings it up he speaks as if he has no clue what anyone is talking about.

Family: Evaline Sagara (Adoptive Sister), Abigale Sagara (Adoptive Mother), Howard Sagara (Adoptive Father)

Past Life: Osirus has no recollection of his birth parent. The only information he has was he was gifted to an orphanage near the border between two countries. He was left with nothing but a small blanket, a purple blanket with a 'Ruin' tome mark on it and a Tome of unknown origin, marking him as a Dark Mage. Dark Mages were not liked within the country, they were hated and viewed as evil. However, those within the orphanage could never bring harm to a child, so they took him in regardless and decided to hide his origins from him, and the other children.

They took the book but they could not destroy it, any attempts to remove it from the building saw it return to Osirus; no matter the distance traveled. The moment eyes were taken off of it, the tome returned to Osirus' side. Try as they would, they could not get the tome away from the boy. Thus, they opted to simply locking it away in a close enough proximity to Osirus that it would not return to him.

Much to the orphanage's surprise and dismay, children still seemed to avoid Osirus. Whenever asked, they could never place why they did not like him; just that he gave off a 'creepy' presence. He had a very hard time growing up, and adoption seemed unlikely as those looking to adopt also said the same thing, and never picked him. Hope faded from Osirus, and he became insanely reclused, often times simply finding a hidden place to be left alone, so he could avoid the ire of his fellow orphans and to avoid the disappointment of seeing another adult look at him with such fear or distaste.

And worse so, Osirus, as he got older; began to move towards the tome. And somehow, when left alone long enough; he would manage to get his hands upon it. And would never give an explanation for it, and despite constant punishments, he would never leave the tome alone and always went back for it.

However, his luck changed when he was eight years old. when a family of mages who specialized in Light Magic, and were part of a very prolific noble family; decided to adopt him into their family. They had always wanted two children, but the wife had only ever been able to conceive a single child. They found Osirus hiding, despite the fact no one up until this point had ever managed to find his hideaway spot. They said that he was the child they would pick, and while Osirus was shocked; he didn't acclimate to life with them very easily, nor did he really accept them as a family right away.

Moreover, his tome came with him. And he took great efforts into hiding it from his parents, seeing as the orphanage always took it away from him. He made sure no one ever found out about it, keeping it tucked away, keeping it for the sole reason it always called to him, made him feel secure for some reason, it felt like it belonged with him.

The harm he had suffered at the orphanage due to the neglect and disdain had warped him slightly, he didn't know how to correctly respond to kindness and family aspects, especially when it came to his adoptive older sister. He had a hard time seeing her, or her parents, as family. But it did not last forever, after several months of kindness and building trust, Osirus slowly began to trust them. Slowly began to become closer to them. They even attempted to teach him magic, as they wielded.

But Osirus never could seem to use any kind of magic tome. Light, Fire, Wind, Lightning, it didn't matter; he couldn't use it. Osirus was never given a Dark Tome due to the stigma around them, and the whole country being against Dark Magic. Thus, they simply informed Osirus that he was unable to use magic, seeing as even Dark Mages could use Anima Magic; and they never wanted to expose Osirus to the dark arts.

Osirus was upset but accepted it. He was able to live his life out rather normally, though was always a loner in life. Aside from his sister and his parents, he never hung out with anyone really. They all thought he was weird, gave off a weird aura and feeling. Whenever they taught anti-dark magic lessons and stories in school, Osirus would always get a weird feeling deep down that he could never rightly explain.

Later in life, he began to question if the tome he had with him was one of those forbidden Dark Magic tomes, it did not look like any Light or Anima book he had ever stumbled across, and it bore similarities to ones he would see in books. However, his fear of what his family might do or say if he were to wield it prevented him from ever actually trying to use it, despite the urges that were present.

That was until he was fifteen. A war had suddenly broke out between the two countries, a lightning war where no one was certain who struck first and everyone was caught off guard; especially those on the border towns. Osirus' town was one of the first to be hit. Soldiers quickly took the streets, people tried to defend their small border side village but the enemy was overwhelming. Osirus and his family had their house broken into by enemy soldiers as they were preparing to flee. Osirus had been upstairs, grabbing his tome that he could not afford to leave behind when he heard the door downstairs get destroyed.

As he came down the flight of stairs, two of the soldiers had been killed by his father, and another by his mother; but his father was impaled by a blade and left bleeding out on the floor as his mother was grabbed. However, the person was struck by his sister with her dark magic, for which his sister was quickly shot by an arrow, making his mother's screams fill the room.

Osirus, in his desperation, called upon the power within the tome in his hands. His body to be a vessel to unleash the ancient dark power within it, purple rings surrounded him and his arm that contrasted the golden rings seen when any kind of magic was typically used; even dark magic. They illuminated the room and with one yell and a thrust of his arm, a wave of dark magic tendrils shot from his hand and impaled multiple soldiers from behind as they fell to the ground.

As if all the pent up Dark Magic within his body was finally being given a vector to be vented after so many years, Osirus began to cast spell after spell as he struck down those in his home. When he was struck, it just seemed to make his attacks stronger; gaining a purple vengeful aura to him as he killed more and more. The mage despite his fears, ran out to get help for his family. However, those within the village when they saw the tome instantly assumed Osirus to be an aggressor, part of the invading army, or a spy.

Osirus fought for his life and the lives of his family, but he was ultimately forced to flee. Osirus escaped his desert village and wouldn't return until months later, but by that point, everyone had abandoned the village, it was now controlled by the enemy army. Osirus snuck into the village, going right for his family home. Old bloodstains were all that remained, he had no closure; unsure if his family was dead or alive, nor where they were. Osirus vowed to find them and left the village in search of them. He would openly attack the army who invaded his village when he could, picking off weaker groups or solo warriors, interrogating those he could to try and find anything he could.

However, even those of the army who had been stationed in his village were not free from his ire. He attacked them too for harming him when all he wanted to do was protect his family. He interrogated them too, but never got anything. He was never able to find them, and eventually, the war would end. Yet even with the war ended, Osirus could never track down who he was looking for. He never gave up, driven to find them, be it their corpse, a grave, or them alive and well somewhere.

He had to find the only people who ever cared.

Unit has a weakness to any form of Light-Based attack. (Be it magic, dragon breath, exalted weaponry, and regalia.)
Automatically forces Osirus' passed off skill to his children to be 'Shadow Curse'.
