Appears to be in their 20s, and is approximately 166cm tall. Has an androgynous appearance, with a feminine face and voice, but a flat chest and a slim but distinctly masculine form. Their entire back is covered in lustrous, translucent scales that reflect colors like a mirror. Their teeth are razor sharp like a piranha, and have no trouble breaking skin upon contact. Has two small beauty marks on their face--one below the lips and one above.

Lyre is almost completely void of emotion, showing no outward signs of it on his face at all times. However, this does not mean that he is void of character, and is often found doing unusual things that might even seem taboo to some. He enjoys ritualistic blood drinking and hails the blood of all living things as a delicacy. Lyre has become so addicted to the taste of fresh blood that he often finds himself latching onto the closest mortal without any conscious forethought.
Besides drinking blood, his hobbies consist of taking walks in the rain, verbally answering prayers rather than physically granting them, and spending time with Thalios, who he affectionately refers to as “Lord Thalios”. Although he is embarrassed to admit it, he strongly fears mortals, due to their behavior towards him upon hearing his voice. Instead of admitting that it is due to fear, he claims that he avoids mortals because they are a burden to him because they do not shine as brightly as his Lord Thalios. He is in love with Lord Thalios, because she is the one person he trusts to never treat him in the boorish way that many mortals did in the past.
- Their prayer temples resemble extravagant temples, often made out of grey or ivory-colored stone, with rounded rooftops and an overall clean, smooth appearance. They are typically surrounded by shallow pools of water, lakes, and springs, so that worshippers can purify themselves before praying.
- They have several shrines scattered across the ocean, resting on small islands, which exist for the purpose of praying for safety while out at sea.
- They seldom speak to mortals, but they talk to Thalios and themselves a lot.
- They could easily be described as a very eccentric person.
- Lyre is submissive by nature and is easily persuaded to do things for others who assert dominance.
- Lyre is also very affectionate, and although they hold no sexual desire towards other beings, they enjoy showering their loved ones in physical platonic affection.
