A ''calm at first sight, but pretty open if you get to know him well'' kinda guy. He is very good at his job, which is doing the magics.
He adores experimenting and investigating. For example, finding out people's/creature's abilities and weaknesses on battle, or forcefully if he snaps.
He doesn't get mad easily, but does have a berserk button.
Independent and solitary, but does enjoy having good company. Loves to share his stories and adores listening to other's. There's always something new to learn for him. He has a very good memory so that helps too.
Marlo is pretty relaxed and handles stressful situations pretty well, unless it's really serious. This plus his knowledge, confidence and charisma makes him a good leader.
Some people would describe him as creepy, seeing he is too involved in his little magic world and very passionate about discovering new things and analyzing humans/creatures. But he doesn't care what other people think of him. He will probably go easy on you in a battle so he can learn more about you. No one is exactly sure where Marlo came from but he has travelled a lot. He usually mentions that this is what made him discover his style of magic and what helped him strengthen himself.
He coexisted with different cultures and ''magic'' cults throughout Asia, Africa and Europe.
Finally, reached a town inhabited by varied non human individuals and decided to stay there to help an old friend build an organization.
