His glasses are antiques. He doesn't really need them, strictly speaking.
Sorrowful over the state of the galaxy. Often so weighed down by it that he ends up doing nothing to help. He did not fight against the progression of the Jedi into a governmental and military role; he sees his purpose as more to do what he can where he is, rather than prevent anything from happening. Kind of goes with the flow in that respect.
Loses sleep over his Padawan.
He fears the clones almost as much as he pities them. While he wouldn't attempt to sneak one out of the military, or convince him to leave, he does try to make their days a little bit brighter. Kane is not above fudging official reports to keep a certain clone's crimes out of the Republic's eye.
