Melo Pearl isn't like a typical pearl in that she is quite literally not a typical pearl, shes made from abalone instead of regular mother of pearl nacres 

She doesn't have the typical pearl anxious behaviors, shes more relaxed and chill a 'cool girl' if you ask others. Shes a bit sardonic but she fully loves her girlfriend pom or pom-a-garnet, they're in a loving permafusion of a sardonyx
