Mono is a cheerful and kindhearted boy who tries to do whats best for others. His selfless tendencies often indirectly result in his own harm or inconvenience. Still, his heart is always in the right place and he has the patience of a saint and a monk-like disposition; giving others the benefit of the doubt - even when they may not deserve it. As such, he's very prone to being taken advantage of and has a lot of difficulty saying no.
A majority of his school years were spent as a victim of bullying, despite doing little to make himself a target for the bloodthirsty wrath of his peers. The boy carries with him the scars of repeated victimization and is oft plagued by nightmares. Even so, Mono chooses not to be resentful towards others knowing full well how damaging being unkind and cruel can be.

Mono is a neurologically atypical individual due muchly to a difficult start in life - he suffers from neurological disorders such as Sensory Processing Disorder and behavioral disorders like Complex PTSD, mild Mysophobic tendencies, mild Paranoia and Anxiety and Physical problems with his legs which requires the occasional use of a walking cane or wheelchair. Despite this, he is highly functional in society and these abnormalities are not often noticed by others at first glance beyond his use of a cane or walking with a limp or his curious habits of repeated hand-washing and choice of attire and other numerous quirks.
Despite his differences from the average individual, he does his best to cope with the world and those around him and is generally a pretty cheerful fellow! Nobody's perfect after all!

Companion Characters:

Gabriel A mischievous and problematic companion. He often likes to pick on Mono, boss him around and take advantage of the poor boy. He's not very outwardly considerate. Why the blonde hangs out with this fellow, no one knows (but it makes for fun doodles)
