Lenny is a six year old monster who lives in Nox, the land of nightmares. He's not particularly skilled in anything, and is a bit simple minded, but he does have a passion for botany and gardening. He loves his family, his older sister Bib being his best friend in the world. Lenny is the half of the duo who does his best to keep them both out of trouble, but Bib has a habit of dragging him along anyways.

Personality:
  • Timid...
    Lenny is used to hiding behind his sister whenever danger rears its head in any form. That danger often manifests itself as talking to grown-ups.
  • N-nervous...!
    Lenny tends to get anxious in a lot of situations. He's not a fan of new or exciting things, he prefers to stick to his routines and care for his plants. His stress is what contributes to his stuttering.
  • Space Cadet...
    Lenny is prone to spacing out every now and then. Most chalk it up to him being deep in thought, though Bib isn't convinced there's a lot of thought going on up there at all. 
  • Kind Hearted...
    As mentioned before, Lenny's gardening hobby stems not only from his interest in the bizarre and odd plants that populate Nox, but also from his innate drive to care for things other than himself. This comes in handy when he needs to help Bib calm down from a tantrum. 
  • Passionate...!
    Lenny isn't very knowledgable in a lot, but he is very focused on flora! He taught himself how to read just because he wanted to read his book on dangerous plants.

If you're interested in Lenny, he and Bib star in a book I wrote last year! It's fully illustrated and is episodic, meaning the next one will come within the next year or so.
Terrible Parables: The Very Beginning

  • 3'0" Tall
    Lenny is built like a long snake or lizard. His reptilian-esque body allows him to wrap around things like a constrictor!
  • Poor Eyesight 
    Lenny needs thick glasses in order to see objects farther than a foot in front of him. Without his spectacles, he's practically blind.
  • Leech Mouth
    Lenny's mouth is equipped with three rows of sharp teeth. The second and third rows are rarely visible. He is capable of opening his mouth like a large 'O' filled with small, sharp, rotating teeth.
  • Camouflage
    His skin can adapt to different environments to help him blend in. This comes in handy when he doesn't want to talk to someone... which is often!
