Monroe's Links
Siberia was a woman that Monroe had once shown an interest in. After their first introduction to one another being Monroe threatening to beat her, he seemed to gravitate toward her. The two of them never got their chance to resolve the tension between them before he passed.
But Monroe's ghost still watches the priestress with a careful eye. Waiting for her day to come.
Monroe had met Jeno on a beach during a cold night, having mistaken her for her sister, Idylla. She quickly became a friend for him, and since then Monroe has always held a soft spot for the galatas. She kept him grounded even as he mourned her sister.
His greatest regret is not being able to apologize to her before his death. But his ghost watches her children left behind, finding remnants of her within them.
Jeno saw something in Monroe, more than she ever led on. She could tell that deep down that the scars he held, the stories that went untold, haunted him until his very last breath. She never knew the full extent of his demons, or what kept him up at night, and still tried her best to stay by his side - even when he truly and utterly terrified her. He was her best friend and is one of her greatest inspirations. Jeno believes that her biggest mistake was that she never got the chance to protect him, to prevent him from succumbing to his fate, for she had disappeared long before his death. Had she stayed, she believed she could have tried to save him. After his passing, she helped return to his lover and her sister, having buried him in Athens right by her side. Years have passed since his death and she still finds herself awake at night reminiscing of their time together. She whispers stories of his life to her children in an attempt to keep his memory alive, despite them growing up in a place where nobody knew his name. She likes to believe that he may be proud of the woman she has become, and that maybe, he would be waiting for her on the other side. Ready to guide her into the arms of her sister and brother, and her fallen friends.
