Backstory
Born in Tokyo, the illegitimate son of Shouhei Kurosawa and Rina Watanabe.
His father is a powerful japanese CEO who had an affair with his personal assistant, and to avoid the backlash of a scandal he kept Nao's existence hidden. He sent Rina far away to the US and paid for her silence.
Shouhei never showed any interest on him, but Nao's older half-brother, Hayato, reached out since he found out of his existence and tried to make him feel like family. However, when Nao was 16, Hayato killed himself. His father called him for the very first time to give him the news and invite him to Japan for the funeral, but kept Hayato's suicide hidden from him, saying he had died in a car accident
Due to the grief of losing his brother and the fact that his father was finally paying attention to him, Nao stayed in Japan after the funeral and was enrolled to finish high school. His existence was then revealed to the world as the new heir of his father's company.

Relationships
 Chris [boyfriend] Nao and Chris met in high school as freshmen, they had a crush on each other from the start and eventually started dating, but due to a tragic event in Nao's family he ended up having to move to Japan with his father and step-mom, resulting in the end of their relationship. They met again in college when Nao went back to the US and by a twist of fate (lol) they became roommates. However they both had become completely different people then,, and it took a while for their relationship to be like it used to. |
