The voice called out from the end of the hallway. Music still blasting in the background. The sound of heels tapping against the ground towards Heron grew louder and louder as Ericka pretty much sprinted over. Its a wonder how she managed to stop in time, only inches from slamming into the tower of a man. Or a wall if she somehow managed to run past him. She was out of breath, as though she'd just gotten back from a marathon or something.
"I heard you playing that one time!" Ericka's voice filled the hallway again, her excitement bouncing off of the walls as she literally filled the area with whatever energy high she was on. She wasn't on anything, she's just always like this.
"You were really good. Like, Really, really fuckin good!" The succubus stared up at Heron with the stars in her eyes. Like a fan meeting an idol, and who knows, maybe she was considered a fan now. Especially after the muffled duet she'd heard. Which she still felt bad for. Especially since she technically cut it short and didnt even introduce herself at the time.

She was cut off from her ramble. A good thing for anyone's poor ears. Considering if she wasn't stopped she'd go on and on till there was no end to it. But thanks to a looming presence appearing behind her, it didnt get to that point. Speak of the devil.

The thing about Heron is that he's always extrapolating meaning from the data he's constantly gathering, putting together the 2 & 2 that most people don't bother to even look for, let alone sum... trying to put together the entire universe like it's a puzzle. His deductions are always well-reasoned, and often accurate, though they're never flattering. He assumes the worst of everything and everyone around him. Unless there's very concrete evidence, the unpleasant explanation wins over the innocent one every time. 😔 silly boy. No light in his world.
