Centaur Animist for a Pathfinder Campaign with Friends <3
Physical:
- Centaur, half Horse, half Human
- Horse Part is around 14'5 H at the shoulder, overall he is a little taller than 7ft ( based on mawari horse )
- long black hair in both head hair and tail, horse body is a dark dappled grey with black towards his hooves
- Patterns are shaved into the fur on his hips and thighs
- his Skin is a slight green tint, bordering on normal though and very small tusks are visible in his mouth whenever he speaks, curled Horse Ears stick out of his robes
- Often wears clothing fully covering his skin, slightly insecure about the green tint that obviously shows some of his heritage
- Accessories like chains, tassels, necklaces, bangles and more decorate both his human and his horse part
Personality:
- easily influenced, delusional, distrustful, skittish, panics easily
o timid, unsocial
+ loyal, gentle, helpful
History:
- Born to family of Occultists, raised to become the Conduit for Spirit Rituals
- It is soon discovered he has a knack to communicating and channeling the Dead and he is revered as one of the "Chosen Ones" within the Cult.
As a result he is very much sheltered from the World and kept from any possible Harm. Experiencing more isolation from common Society than most other Members.
- Learns early on to host Spirits inside of him through Training and Rituals. His trainings often taking place around Burial Grounds and other Locations connected to Death and the Beyond.
The Cult believed the proximity to Death would further his connection to the other realms and Damdöd.
- Menevma often accompanies the "Healers" to Patients, especially those terminally ill. An attempt to have him personally witness Damdöd's Work and Power.
- Despite having "Healer's", the Cult's stance on Healing is controversial. They believe Life and Death lays solely in the Power of Damdöd and interference would be futile.
Thus they only provide the most basic Care and Relief. Lessening Pain where there is any but not actively fighting the Causes or Diseases.
- He is scared of the Apparitions he meets, but through many years has been taught to hide this Fear.
- When turning 20, he separates from his Family to seek a Life of his own. However he cannot completely separate himself from the Beliefs of his Family, still incredibly superstitious and religious. Loyal to his faith.
- Travels the Lands rather aimlessly. No real goal he is heading towards. Lost and quite blind to the world outside.
