Personality

Riley is quirky, cheerful, and a tech geek. She's always messing with or trying to fix some kind of device/technology. She can be quite stubborn and will always try to find a way to solve her problems even if it means skipping sleep or even eating! She doesn't like to rely on others because she thinks it would make her look weak. And one of the things she hates most is being looked down or pity from others.

Background

She is an only child. Her father wanted a son to carry the name but his wife gave birth to a girl and died from birth complications as she was also in poor health from the start. He resents Riley because of that and blames her for his wife's death and not being born a son as well. Her aunt took care of her as her father disappeared out of her life a year after she was born. She cared for Riley as she was one of their own since she is not able to have children of her own due to infertility.
