Profile

Helios has always been the flirty type among his race but he always had a special spot in his heart for the current Deity, Gaea, when he was considered a Seraphis of Blaze. He strove to one day be the same rank as her so it would be appropriate to have a relationship with her. As soon as he rose to the Deity status Sol, they quickly hit it off. She was especially flattered by the lengths he went to win her love. All that changed as soon as a new Luna Deity rose, Selene. Many Deities appeal to her but she was uninterested and resistant to their charms. Helios' fickle personality and his need for a challenge got the better of him and he tried to pursue Selene and bed her without Gaea's knowledge. The more Selene refused his advances, the more infatuated he became with her.

When Selene finds a human lover, Helios becomes extremely jealous and crafts a complex plan to kill her off, throwing the whole world into war. During this time, Selene and Helios's power was hitting its peak as they begun to take on the old Deities' energies. Gaea's power, who was part of the old Deity generation, was beginning to wane causing her not to be as active in her usual roles. This allowed her to be more attentive to Helios like he always wanted. Helios often shrugged her off and made excuses for not seeing her. It wasn't until Gaea caught Helios trying to make another advance on Selene after Selene's human lover in killed in the war. Helios dismisses any feelings he had for Gaea and continues to pursue Selene as a challenge he hasn't conquered yet. He becomes even more enraged when he realizes that Selene attached herself to another human (Melia) and seeks to destroy her just like her last lover.
