-Backstory-

How long had he really been "awake" now? He had always had felt like he was in a dream, watching the world from the holes in the trees, never to interfere until the Combined Era. He had always thought it to be a myth. After all, it was extremely unlikely that magic would ever come back to the ley lines. But here he was, out in the open. He felt the breeze on his bark, the soil pressing over his feet, and the ebb of the ley lines surging through his body. In a simultaneous connection with all other dumbfounded Spriggans around the world, he uttered out the name chosen for him by The Canopy.

Though he uttered "Leif" to the open and isolated air, he heard a cacophony of voices in his head, being able to discern them all. Vitori, Needle, Eric, Spiren, Argus, Delvino, Aggamand, Mantle, Bekah, Beam, and so many others ran through his head. None of them disagreed with their name but instead had another unanimous thought.

If they were out, then they needed to get to work. They knew their purpose and place, they just needed to find a way. Regardless of whether the threat was human, natural or magical, their job was to make sure their forests stood the tests of time.

So Leif and all others did just that, having am individual thought in the back of their minds on how best to achieve their task.

For Leif, working with humans seemed necessary, so he headed towards the nearest park ranger station, hoping dearly that they would understand that they had the same goal at heart.
