Basil doesn't have a lot to say but he does really enjoy being around people. He is willing to try out most things, if he doesn't have to put too much work into it. He is super lazy and it is a real suprise he is able to get anything done. Luckily he is super smart so can afford to procrastinate as much as he does. Due to the bad relationship with his father and some toxic past partners, he doesn't view himself highly. Often thinking himself as being boring and unworth of any attention.
Basil's mom died during child birth and was left with a regretful dad who took out his fustration on him. This lead to a very abusive relationship from his father which causes huim to change his name since his father ws the one that had name him. Even though his mother died, her spirit stayed behind. Her love and need to protect him was so strong she was actually able to give him the power to see and communicate with spirits. She eventually had to move on around his tenth birthday. Unfortunately this caused more problems than she intended. Without her protecting him, he gets possessed quite frequently. Since he constantly senses spirits, they zap his energy which is why he is tired all the time. Even with how scary it is, he wants to help every spirit pass, even if that means letting them use his body.
Basil is extremely attracted to Sierra at first but eventually calms down to a much normal level. He wants to help Sierra free spirits even if that's not his plan. After too long of pinning something finally sparks between the two and all they want to do is protect eachother. They eventually start dating after much awkwardness.
They grew up together and Zanna's family was a big part of his life. As they grew older and closer they kind of fell into being fuck buddies while remaining close friends. They only ever stop when one gets into a more serious relationship. Basil enjoys living next door to her because that means he has someone he loves always close by.
Basil mets Damien through Sierra. They hit it off right away as Basil thinks Damien is really funny. They end up chilling out a lot and trying to get Sierra to join in on the fun.They often get high together when they just need the pick me up.
Basil mets Kayden through Zanna. They have a similar relationship as he has with Damien except they do not hang out as much. Basil would like to more but Kayden is always busy with his demon things. The three of them only share one braincell when they are all toegther. This may not be very productive but it is very fun.
Basil mets Jasmine through Zanna. He was so excited for Zanna to find someone, being the main force to help chase away any nervous butterflies. Since Jasmine is an artist, Basil will often pose for her so she can have nice reference images without having to search google for hours to find just the perfect angle and pose. Zanna is a much better model though as Basil is kind of lazy so can't do anything uncomfortable for too long.
Basil mets Elijah through Sierra. He was very excited to find out he has an older brother. He doesn't know him to well but he thinks he is pretty cool and would like to get to know him more.
