Vallin was born to the young couple, Rosica and Aylus Alu. He grew up a comfortable childhood, maybe a little babied at times, being born half-arctic elf made him highly acceptable to eye and skin damage when in the sun. Plus, the Lethebelle was considered to be the safest place in the world, he made many close friends and was recieving a good education. When Vallin wasn't out with his friends or in school, he was taught the history of the Arctic Elves and about the beliefs of his mother's culture.

However, when Vallin was around 16 years old, his parents decided to make a move deep into the Southern part of Itaura, down to Ninlas. Adjusting to the move was difficult to Vallin. Ninlas was much hotter and muggier, far livelier, and he was having to make new friends. Vallin also began exploring his sexuality at the time, bouncing from person to person, only settling down shortly for a few times, until a slightly older peer caught his attention.

His name was Saida Venlynn, a short red-headed elf with long wavy hair and tan skin. Vallin had been friends with Saida during his earlier years, and after a catching up and hanging out for a few months the two began dating. Saida was a much more rebellious person that Vallin was, he especially liked to sneak out and get into the clubs and parties around Ninlas, and began to take Vallin to these too. After around 3 years of being together, Vallin began to question Saida's loyality. Saida was irritiable with Vallin most of the time, often pressured and picked on Vallin when ever he didn't want to do things, pressure Vallin to drinking and trying different drugs. Vallin began falling back in school and spent most of his time at Sauda's home.

Vallin would follow Sauda into the Elven Guard, where he would start training to become a field medic field. By this time, Vallin had developed an addiction to a drug called Silvertounge, an sweet elixir was said to clear and relax the mind. His relationship with Sauda was falling apart, Sauda would verbally attack Vallin whenever Vallin did something he was unhappy with, and would accuse Vallin of purposely trying to upset him. Around 6 months after joining the guard, Vallin's parents found out about the state of his addiction, and encouraged Vallin to seek out professional help.

Vallin found himself going to the Alchemist's Guild of Southern Ninlas quite often, often claiming these visits were just to stock up on medical supplies for his position in the guard, however he was meeting biweekly to recieve treatment. While visiting, Vallin would met a younger elf by the name of Amzahr, an alchemist who Vallin would end up falling in love with. After a month of recieving treatment, Vallin ended his relationship with Sauda, moving back into his parents home for the time and working to get his life back on track. 8 years later, Vallin is clean and happily engaged to Amzahr, the two work together to provide medicine and help to those who are in need of it.
