Profile
Josh never really made any friends when he was younger. A lot of people would assume he was mute because he simply chose not to speak. When he did, however, it was either very brief, or it was to yell at someone. He was labelled as a difficult child due to his outbursts; they always seemed disproportionate to the problem at hand. It wasn’t until his teens that he was given an answer and diagnosed with IED. He worked on managing and dealing with it, but many people chose to avoid him despite it all.
Because he was always really into war stories and movies, he joined the military the second he was able. He was put to work with explosives and grew a quick love for them. He found them fascinating, and loved to tinker with them and test the effectiveness of different materials. His squad was kind to him and included him despite his off-putting nature, and he eventually grew fond of them–not in an overly close way, but more of a ‘If i have to be around someone, you’re not the worst option.’
Eventually he was discharged when a comrade messed up one of the explosives and partially blew him up. This messed him up enough mentally that his supervisors thought it best to discharge him under the category of medical. Despite being caught in the crossfire, his love for explosives stayed–it was the person that messed up. Due to his knowledge in explosives, he was able to craft his own after his discharge and continued to test different combinations and their effectiveness. He was always sure to cover his tracks afterwards.
