Anaïs

S he is a dedicated gravekeeper, talkative and devoted to her inherited job. Pale as bone beneath moonlight, it’s as if the grave dust has clung to her skin over the years of work.

She dresses in muted pastels, colors softened to the edge of gray, like flowers pressed between old pages. Anaïs’ expression rarely changes, not from coldness, but from simplicity. She speaks plainly, without ornament or inflection. To some, her serious attitude feels severe; but in truth she is simply careful with her language, and not unkind.

Anaïs actually used to dislike the silent nature of her job, but became accustomed to it over the years. Outside of work, Anaïs enjoys journaling and keeping up with politics. She's very social when not on the job.

Though she has unnaturally pale skin and strange eyes, this girl is fully human. Only her ears are a real animalistic trait--she doesn't let people know it, but her eye color is achieved through contact lenses.
