Sakurai

Saku had a bit of an interesting and chaotic childhood. With two parents not living together, Sakurai grew up mainly with her mother Cosmia and was passed from parent to parent once she got old enough to decide who to live with herself. Normally, this would have produced a fairly level-headed child if it weren't for Cosmia- a nice and beautiful kin, albeit with the notion that she herself was a sort of ethereal spirit. From a young age she was told that she was nothing short of a demigod when staying with Cosmia, and during her time with Lyoko, her other parent, she was desperately convinced out of this mindset. This led to Saku growing up with a strange and conflicted view of the world and of her own identity.

As a young adult (if you can even call her an 'adult' with her childlike maturity level), Saku has maintained a belief in her own magical prowess, although it's nowhere near as strong as her mother Cosmia's. She currently works as a sort of 'potioneer', mixing up various brews of things she finds around the forest and selling them, claiming that they have magical properties. She may not exactly be the richest kin in the world with this career, but she makes a surprising amount of money for being a weird lady in the forest selling potions out of a flask.

favorite things;;

• circus tents/colorful tents or fabrics in general
• spending time upside-down (hanging from trees, head-standing, anything really)
• very crackly or very soft music on her portable radio (she doesn't like clear, easy-to-hear music as she likes the lyrics to be somewhat of a mystery)
• making up her own rules to live by (she makes up her own holidays, constellations, and even a separate time/distance measurement system which can sometimes make her very hard to get hold of)
• unpublished books, or books which only have a few copies published
• mushrooms of all shapes and sizes
• pretty much anyone who's willing to talk to her tbh

dislikes;;

• air conditioning (or really any building that smells/feels different than outside)
• heights
• scented shampoo
  
• squishing bugs for no reason besides 'they were creepy' (she uses bugs sometimes in her weird potions but doesn't like the idea of killing them and not using them)
