About

Griffinwick Down is a newly formed rabbit warren that exists under the ruins of some sort of human-made stone structure, possibly an old look-out post or something that had been made some ages past, although it is certainly hard to ascertain precisely what the ruins had once been as these ruins are so old that they have fallen apart to the point that all that can be seen now are scattered sections of what had once been a stone floor, some stairs that now lead to nowhere, deteriorated broken down statues, and a few stone archways. The ruins of Griffinwick Down have largely been reclaimed by mother nature, with walls and arches covered in moss and vines while the ground is covered in grass and flowers.

Though the rabbits of Griffinwick Down do not actually live within any of the stone structures left standing of the ruins, they do instead use a few of them as frequent look-out posts. Their warren exists underneath as a large, vast system of interconnected tunnels that run underneath all of these stone structures in an easily defensible area as well as an easily escapable one along with some secret tunnels just in case.

The Griffinwick Down warren lies a few miles away from the coast and few short feet away from a river, it also exists a few miles away from the nearby forest that surrounds the vast mountain range that extends through a large majority of the island upon which Griffinwick Down exists on. The ruins of Griffinwick Down are surrounded by a nice lush meadow with a nice variety of tasty vegetation as well as some not-so-tasty vegetation. The climate of Griffinwick Down tends to be on the normal side for a coastal climate and therefore tends to be quite wet as it experiences a great deal of rainy weather.
